Admiralty standard nautical charts are the paper product of the UK Hydrographic Office (UKHO). It complies with Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) regulations and is perfect for professional, commercial and leisure use. UKHO produces over 3,300 nautical charts offering worldwide coverage. The nautical charts start from 0001 to 4999 with different scales. For safety navigation, it is always recommended to use the largest scale nautical charts accordingly. While in some complex seaways such as English Channel, Gulf of Suez and the Malacca Strait, the standard nautical charts are supplemented by mariners’ routeing guides which advise all the appropriate safety information for these areas.
